Qualifications
- Be a baptized SDA / Ser un ASD bautizado
- Be 18 y/o / Tener por lo menos 18 años de edad
- Be single / Soltero
- Be a university student or have a degree / Ser un universitario o ya estar graduado.
- Be able to speak in Spanish (desirable) / Hablar español (es lo ideal)
- Do not have children / No tener hijos
- Have a good mental condition / Tener una buena salud mental
- Have a good physical endurance / Tener buena resistencia física
- Resistant to hard weather and environments / Ser resistente a climas y ambientes difíciles
- Play a musica instrument is a plus / Tocar instrumentos musicales es un plus.
- Have passion for the evangelistic mission and be a soul winning / Tener pasión por la Obra Misionera y ser un ganador de Almas.
Attire
Acceptable / Aceptable: Everything which is moderate and show your conservative christian values / Todo lo que es moderado y muestra tus valores cristianos conservadores
Non Aceptable / No Aceptado: Anything that brings a shadow to your personal witness and creates conflict with local culture and church values / Cualquier cosa que traiga una barrera a tu testimonio personal y cree conflictos con la cultura local y los valores de la iglesia.
Accommodations
REMEMBER: Peru is a very conservative country / RECUERDA: Perú es un país muy consevador.
- A House or a apartment will be rented to hold at least 4 or 5 missionaries of the same gender // Se alquilarán casas o departamentos para albergar al menos a 4 o 5 misioneros del mismo sexo.
- The place where the volunteer will live, eat and serve will be determined by the Local Conference after the interview // El lugar donde el voluntario vivirá, comerá y servirá será determinado por la Asociación/Misión después de la entrevista.
- The volunteer must be able to go to the place where he or she is chosen to serve in the Local Conference Territory. The volunteer can't choose a specific place in advance. // El voluntario debe poder desplazarse al lugar donde sea elegido para servir en el Territorio de la Misión/Asociación.
- Electricity in Peru is 220 volts / La electricidad en Perú es 220 voltios.
- The volunteer will eat with his/her team of missionaries. Money for buying food will be provided monthly by the Conference sponsors. // El voluntario comerá con su equipo de misioneros. Los patrocinadores de la Conferencia proporcionarán dinero mensualmente para comprar alimentos.

- Some items that the local conference determine as needed by the team / Algunos elementos que la conferencia local determina según los necesita el equipo.
Not Included
- International flight ticket. The volunteer should arrive at Lima International Airport, he or she will be taken to his/her service place by the local conference leaders. / Billete de avión internacional. El voluntario deberá llegar al Aeropuerto Internacional de Lima, será trasladado a su lugar de servicio por los líderes de la conferencia local.
- Laptop, cellphones, electronic devises, etc. / Laptop, celulares, dispositivos electrónicos, etc.
- Medicines for specific medical/psychological conditions / Medicamentos para condiciones médicas/psicológicas específicas.
Restrictions
- No pets allowed / No se permiten mascotas.
- The volunteer must not start a romantic relationship while in service; he or she who break this rule, will be requested to leave the project and the volunteer will be responsible of all his/her expenses to return to his/her country. / El voluntario no debe iniciar una relación romántica mientras esté en servicio; Quien infrinja esta regla, se le solicitará que abandone el proyecto y el voluntario será responsable de todos sus gastos para regresar a su país.
Compensation
- Monthly stipend of 300 PEN / Estipendio mensual de 300 soles
Additional
Every international applicant will be randomly assigned to one of the local conferences in our Union, after that, an interview with the local conference leaders will be scheduled to determine the acceptance of the volunteer candidate // Cada solicitante internacional será asignado al azar a una de las conferencias locales de nuestra Unión, luego de eso, se programará una entrevista con los líderes de la conferencia local para determinar la aceptación del candidato voluntario.
- Every international applicant will be randomly assigned to one of the local conferences in our Union, after that, an interview with the local conference leaders will be scheduled to determine the acceptance of the volunteer candidate // Cada solicitante internacional será asignado al azar a una de las conferencias locales de nuestra Unión, luego de eso, se programará una entrevista con los líderes de la conferencia local para determinar la aceptación del candidato voluntario.
- For volunteers of countries that official documents are given in other language than Spanish: The volunteer will apply for a volunteer visa once he/she is in Peru. The volunteer needs to bring his/her police record and birth certificate translated to Spanish and both apostilled. Also needs a passport with validity at least of one year after the end of the service period. The fees for obtaining the visa will be covered by the local conference but the volunteer should bring all his/her documents. If don't he or she will be deported or have immigration fees/fines to pay.
- Para voluntarios cuyos países hablan y entregan documentos en español: El voluntario solicitará una visa de voluntario una vez que se encuentre en Perú. El voluntario deberá traer su certificado de antecedentes policiales y su partida de nacimiento, ambos documentos con la apostilla de la Haya. También se necesita un pasaporte con una validez mínima de un año después de finalizar el período de servicio. Los costos para obtener la visa serán cubiertos por la asociación/misión local pero el voluntario deberá traer todos sus documentos. Si no lo hace, será deportado o tendrá que pagar tarifas o multas de inmigración.
