Responsibilities

  • Teach English (ESL) to children and young people at the Kawergosk Refugee Camp,
  • Participate in the Pathfinder club activities.
  • Actively participate in the various activities and events at the Youth Center in the camp.
  • Be sensitive to and abide to the local cultural norms.
  • Build friendships with the students and their families.
  • Present Christ's character in your behavior

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching English (ESL) will be considered an advantage
  • English(Fluent) 
  • 1+ year College/University

Attire

  • Acceptable Dress: Modest dress according to the local culture
  • Unacceptable Dress: Immodest dress according to the local culture. Women: short skirts, tight pants, sleeveless shirts and low-cut clothes. Men: Shorts and sleeveless shirts (except for exercising).

The volunteer will live in a furnished apartment in Erbil
