Duties:     A Bible instructor is a personal evangelism leader for the local church. He/she is a Bible worker who is not only passionate about soul winning but for equipping, training and empowering church members to reach their community for Christ’s kingdom. In partnership with the pastor, they are the outreach leader for the church with the responsibility of fostering an evangelistic culture.

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work with pastor and board to develop cycle of evangelism schedule.
• Generate new Bible study interests, coordinate weekly Bible studies, oversee local Bible study correspondence school, if one exists.
• Train members how to give Bible studies, and help them identify their spiritual gifts, and evangelism styles to empower them for ministry.
• Lead the church in various personal ministry and outreach activities, including door-to-door.
• Assist in at least one reaping event per year, including pre-work and follow-up visits.

This position requires a commitment to one year of service by the Bible instructor.

Qualifications   (Legally, "experience required" must be related to specific duties of position.)
Experience Required:   1. One year of experience leading out in giving Bible studies. 2. Certification from school or institute for training Bible workers (incl. door-to-door outreach). 3. Well educated in all 28 Adventist fundamental beliefs. 4. Proven leadership skills; ability to disciple other members in the body of Christ. 5. Experience in speaking/preaching in a church or classroom.
