As a substitute teacher:

• Follows the homeroom teacher’s instructions as closely as possible.
• Becomes familiar with the classroom schedule and procedures as quickly as possible.
• Becomes familiar with the basic school-wide rules, i.e., hall and cafeteria rules, dismissal procedure.
• Ensure that classroom order is maintained and that all students comply with all classroom and school rules

The Southern-Asia Pacific Division requires attendance at the AVS orientation at the Thailand Mission, in Bangkok, Thailand, arriving any time on Wednesday, August 15 until 2:00 PM on Monday, August 20. Travel to Dili should be arranged for Tuesday morning, August 21. School preparation begins August 22, 2020 in Dili, Timor-Leste. Please make travel plans accordingly.
