Duties:     The Rocky Mountain Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Youth Ministry Department is looking for young men and women who are feeling a calling to full time pastoral ministry. This is a one year internship and mentorship opportunity where you will receive hands on experience and intentional training from local pastor, conference youth director and ministry professionals. During this volunteer internship you will spend time ministering in the local context by preaching, giving bible studies, planning events and weeks of prayer and working diligently to build community. At a conference level, you will have hands on experiences with leadership opportunities at summer camp, in public evangelism & outreach, and in building community with the youth across the Rocky Mountain Conference. This is an opportunity for you to grow professionally while strengthening our RMC youth spiritually.

Duties:
One. Assist the local church and school leaders in your specific, assigned context by working in ministry, organizing programming, and dedicating yourself to encouraging the spiritual growth of the young people in their community.
Two. Assist the Youth Director with the planning, onsite, and follow-up of various Conference Youth Department events including camps, rallies, weeks of prayer, evangelistic meetings and Bible study.

Roles and Responsibilities:
One. Act as mentor for youth in both morality and ministry.
Two. Make plans while keeping in mind the specific needs of the constituency.
Three. Follow direction and support efforts of the Youth Director and Local Pastor.

Lodging:   Lodging will be provided in the main lodge at Glacier View Ranch. Room is equivalent to an average hotel room and will have either 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed and a sofa. Your room will have a private bathroom. The room includes a small dresser and a closet. Community appliances (microwave, stove, oven, toaster, blender, etc.) are available in the dining hall and at times in the lodge kitchen. Electricity is available in all of our rooms. Rooms are heated. Please note, the lodging provided is at high elevation (8,760ft).

Qualifications   (Legally, "experience required" must be related to specific duties of position.)
Experience Required:   At least 21 years of age. Active in local church and/or youth ministry. Available for the length of the entire program. Have a valid drivers license. Be seeking a degree in religion, theology, or similar. Qualifications: Have a daily, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Passionate about living and sharing the Gospel in creative and traditional ways. Have a positive attitude with an ability to fulfill responsibilities. Work as a team player. Be in good health and vitality. Be able to take and implement directions and advice. Be flexible to work in a variety of environments and on a diverse set of projects. Gifted and passionate for ministry: speaking, music, Bible study, etc.. General computing skills preferred (graphic and web-design desired). Experience with starting/developing ministries geared to Youth and Young Adults preferred. At least 2 years of collegiate studies in Religion or Theology with a 2.5 or higher GPA is preferred.
