Duties:     Teach English to a small classroom with Syrian refugees and Lebanese children in Majdal Anjar. Volunteer teachers will be responsible for using the resources provided to create and implement activities that will encourage curiosity and facilitate active hands-on learning to develop the children’s English language skills.

A dual focus of the Center of Influence is to engage the families of the children. This involves home visitation and other activities after school hours.

Volunteers will work at a small Center of Influence providing English classes to refugee children who have not been in school for several years due to war and other factors. Volunteers can expect to teach four days a week. Afternoon hours on work days are spent on home visits and other interactions with families.
