Duties: |
The volunteer will be assigned to the Tasba Raya Clinic. Personal Worship precedes the following: Maintain an attitude of service and cooperation with other programs and individuals. Study the Miskito language on site. |

The men's dorm provides bunk beds, table and chair. Supplies are purchased in Puerto Cabezas and Waspan for the kitchen and personal needs usually once or twice a month. The computer and email office is available at scheduled times so all have access to it at least once a week as weather and conditions allow. Orientation is scheduled at time of acceptance. |

Visa/Travel Details: |
Upon arrival to Managua, a TRCA representative will be on hand and make the arrangements necessary for travel to either Waspan OR Puerto Cabezas where the volunteer will be met by the team leader and transport them back to Tasba Raya mission. The overnight expense at Marlene Cordero's house is $20 for bed and breakfast or Best Western just across the street from airport with shuttle service for around US$75 a night. Sometimes the volunteer will be directed to take the Best Western if they have an early flight to Port but there will be someone on hand to receive them. |
