Duties:     To teach grades 1-6 to a one-room school (currently max capacity 10 students).
Teach school Mondays - Thursdays.
Expectations:
Competently teach students (as far as possible help students who are behind catch up to their grade level), management of classroom and classroom discipline when necessary, organize ways for the church school to be connected with the church and the rest of the church’s mission.

To attend church activities and participate as you are so gifted and able.

To be willing to step in and help with other things that may not specifically relate to your call when asked to do so.

Lodging:   We will provide your housing. You will be given a 10 x 13 guest room in the church that has a bed and small dresser. You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own food. You will also have access to a washer and dryer and a shared bathroom. You will be expected to have your own toiletries, and personal cleaning supplies. You will be expected to keep things neat and clean. Because the church is a public building it is especially important that you keep your things contained in your room and areas designated for your use and that public areas stay in presentation for the public at all times.

Experience Required:   Qualifications: *Must enjoy working with children *Have an interest/experience in teaching (experience is not required but very helpful) *A lot of patience *Ability to stay calm when working with troubled children *Creative thinking and problem solving skills *An interest in non traditional schooling (i.e. outdoor classroom and teaching practical skills) *A desire to bring Christ into the classroom *Must have HS Diploma or Equivalent
